Having our cake but not eating it

RW arrived today.

She brought us this.

That looks disgusting. Like a pork chop or something. Poor Alice. What did they do to her cake at the party?

How many G&Ts is it now? Or have you lost count?

My day was fine. The other school was interesting, the head was really switched on and had lots of good ideas some of which we could take on board here. He was a cheery soul too which helps. I’m looking forward to going again tomorrow.

Dr Chat! Now that is an appropriate title for me: doctor of gossip and tittle-tattle.

I teach MFL (French and German) although I do very little teaching these days but my research (a lifetime ago now) was in the area of nationality, language and cultural identity. I never looked at the thing after I did the viva though. What's your area? Well, actually you're probably too drunk to remember right now!!! You're Lettuce remember, and that other person is Rambling and you've got some children in the house somewhere who probably need getting ready for bed.

Have fun together you girls,what are you like going to Tracs house! you should have seen her face it was hysterical, very good..... I dare you to go and stand outside my old house, go on I dare ya, dare ya... kisses for you all.... oh and funny thing was, Trac said, "who's that woman standing at my door?" because in fact she's only met Lucy once, hahahaha........
