Through the keyhole

LG's bedroom door.
Do you think she's trying to tell us something?

(sorry these aren't ever so clear, they will enlarge if you click on them) :

As you can see from the above I have already contravened some of LG's explicit instuctions, by having the temerity to Lift the Flap. Da da da da da da da da retribution will no doubt follow if she ever finds out.

I then took the further risk of venturing into said Swamp over the Easter break. "Swamp" is an insufficiently precise or squalid word to describe the state of it.

But I had a Plan. Look out for my next post on the topic of the state of the little girl's bedroom.

Now, tell your daughter that you know a famous goth. Tell her to look at www.manuskript.co.uk

That's the band I used to be in. I wrote most of the music for their CD too. Do you think she'll be impressed. Probably not. Ha ha!

I loved your Owen essay. It was excellent and made me really laugh. Thankyou so muchxxx

What bizarre things will I come up with next!!!!!!

I think you should show the inside of the bedroom today and not wait until tomorrow. I can't wait that long. I love her posters - they are way too cool for us oldies.

Did I say oldies?

Yes, let's see inside. Brings back a lot of memories. Mirren actually chained her door shut at one point with a big chain round the radiator in the hall. Such fun. And yes, she went for the signs too - on the windows as well as they faced the street.

well, have you started sprouting warts and green tufts of hair after lifting the flap?

Yes, RW, I'm turning into one of Le Chat's fritillaria!

Betty - we are sooooo impressed.

Well, Trac, she is mostly happy with herself being different. Sometimes gets a bit anxious, esp. about her (female) classmates not liking Goths. But she was very pleased when her teacher (mostly git but sometimes good fun) was talking with them about comfort zones, and said that LG didn't have a comfort zone, but was up there somewhere in orbit!!

The slugs have been at it - my frittywotsit that is.

I'm afraid there aren't any pictures of me on that web-site. I left years ago and they replaced me. I was too embarrassed to say that I wanted to leave the band - it was really, really hard work - so, get this - I posted a letter through the lead singer's door. Ha ha ha...

Get LG to put more signs on her door. I love them.

PS - Don't worry - that post was made up...
