Bike

I've got a bike

You can ride it if you like it

Its got a basket a bell that rings

and things to make it look good

I'd give it to you if I could

But I borrowed it.

My bike is going in for a service today. I can only use 2 of the 3 sets of the gears - which are also extremely clunky.

I don't know how to do this for myself. I could learn (I suppose) but I'm going to pay someone else to do it for me.

I just got around to downloading Relics (Pink Floyd) - one the most-listened-to albums of my youth, but I don't know what happened to my copy, we no longer have it. And it was such a good album cover, too.
:o(

I still know all the words. Though I always thought it was "a bell that rings and dings to make it look good".

I know a mouse and he hasn't got a house

I don't know why I call him Gerald.

He's getting rather old

but he's a good mouse.

So I've been playing it loud, and loving it.

We are always singing that song in our house (as you can imagine) - every time the bikes come out (well, nearly)

Hehehe. My sister and I use to sing that song about a boyfriend of mum's that we weren't too keen on. We changed the words to rude ones (well rude for children you understand?)

All this nice weather has made me long for a bike, and here you are taunting me too!

We don't need no cycle helmets
We don't need no bike control
No need to slow down on the pavement
Pedestrians, leave us cyclists alone.

Did you have a good day? Is Billy Bike all fixed?

I see Trac has already managed to mention alcohol - before the 6pm liquorshed too.

Almost the end of the day, thank the sun god for making sure the sun goes down.

Ah nice to see a bit of Queen breaking in here. I still don't want to ride a bike though even if both Pink Floyd and Queen get together and try and bully me into it.

Nice photos. But where are you? Or are you a DT lookalike?

hahaha, yes I'm a DT lookalike, and managed to find a nice cardie just like his!

But I've found the halloween photos....

Hoorah you've got a flickr. Still no photo of you tho!!!

To have different photos on your other flickr put a tag in the photos you want uploaded (I put 'craft' in all my crafty ones) Then select all those with a tag.

I ride my little bicycle
I ride it to the shops
and when I see a big red light
I know that I must stop
Red, yellow, green means gooooooooo!

Nerdy record alert...I thought the bike song was on 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'...although it's been a long time since I listened to either - got Relics on vinyl somewhere, in the 'It was all a Very Long Time ago' section of my record collection. Along with trillion Hawkind albums...
