i'm so glad you are playing in theme thursday the pictures are marvelous!! and ched nailed it lg's hair does look like candy corn - didn't think of it until she mentioned it, but now I'm craving some of that sweet perfection!
liked how there's a strippy wallhanging in the background....
thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou for the woods book!!! (ched told me in advance - she learned I was planning on getting the exhibition book) f and I went to the exhibit yesterday - I was a bit surprised on that it was only the one room (although there were a lot of photos packed in it)....I was enthralled and found his oeuvre quite inspiring and fascinating.... all the exhibits at icp were wonderful - the classic cutting edge portraits of arbus & avedon (& the other person whose name escapes me) to the japanese photographers...
I'm wondering how in the world she managed to do that herself? She will certainly have a colorful re-entry to school this year! I always say HAIR GROWS, so I have never displayed much parental anxiety over color, cut, or perms!
this is an old picture (away from home and limited to pics. i have on flickr) - LG and I did this for her last week at primary school 2 years ago. Her hair at the mo. is very black all over with fairly red streaks here and there...
Most (trad) candy corn has a white (vanilla) tip--however they do make candy corn with a cocoa tip, and that looks exactly like LG's hair. So she is unconventional candy corn. all the better.
Theme Thursday - I need to get on board with that one of these days. I guess I need to get back on board with blogging in general.
I just got my summer cut (a bit late but what can ya do?). It is a military type thingie - buzzed all around and a bit longer on top. I can make a little Mohawk if I gel it but think perhaps I am too old for such nonsense...perhaps.
BTW - I am LOVING that music CD you sent. Thanks again.
I'm mainly posting photographs without words at the moment. Theme Thursday helps to keep me blogging and I hope to return to Sepia Saturday before too long.
I enjoy reading your comments and apologise if I don't find the time to reciprocate.
Details of my other habits are on a strictly need-t0-know basis.

Love that top little head!
LG: quite colorful.
Dennis says LG looks like candy corn (which is odd because e. looks like red licorice.) Candy colored hair is fair!
LG's hair is fabulous!!!!!!
I'm considering a hairstyle of some sort myself/
Is that front or back view?

seeing ched TODAY!!!! wish you were here!
All I can say is WOW! to both hairstyles. And double WOW!
Oh cool! I wish I had the guts to have such an extreme hairdo. I have been red and I am curly at the moment but neither to the extreme.

Met Kim and F. yesterday--we went to see the Bucky Fuller exhibition. (I'll send you a postcard from it)

Hi Letty,
Theme Thursday - I need to get on board with that one of these days.

Very cool shots. I want to dye my hair like that someday. That is great.
PS it is not too late to send a postcard and win a Supr Hero Cape : )
Roots eh!
wing is next up if you;re around to blog on Thursday
Funny, I was admiring Angela's braids this morning, so beautifully done - so much time taken too.
LGs hair is deeply impressive!
I feel bad about your ears--they healed while you were here, so I thought that problem was behind you.
