That first shot is interesting: appears to be two hooded monks. Doesn't look to be any places to swim in the area. Where does one go to swim? Great photos to peruse, thanks.
Love that bird (is it a cormorant think thats how you spell its breed), it really has got the best view. Just popped by to see how your doing, will pop back again once I start posting again. Till then take care and enjoy your hols..
If you are going to see Dennis, please give Ched and Edward a chintickle from me, I'd do it myself but I'm too busy right now... plus I don't know where they live.
I'm mainly posting photographs without words at the moment. Theme Thursday helps to keep me blogging and I hope to return to Sepia Saturday before too long.
I enjoy reading your comments and apologise if I don't find the time to reciprocate.

A good route for one with a good eye . . .
Wow, these photos totally shattered the romantic ideas I conjured up surrounding the Thames. It gets a bit industrial around there doesn't it?
At least you get to walk near water. There's a plus.
You got some interesting shots their Lettie.
We 'sailed' up the Thames last summer but didn't see any of that. Maybe we weren't looking!
Oh I love industrial bits of The Thames myself...
Cool pics :O)

Dennis says thank you for all the pictures to look at--the dangerous structure no mooring was funny. Dennis looks forward to seeing you soon.
Have you noticed the winking face in that first photo? Love it!
What a great way to go to work!
Sue
what a great photo essay! I'd like to take that route to work!
The happy white glove makes everything OK, says I...
