Ahhh... summer at the beach. Happy days. I spent every waking moment on the beach when I was a child.... lived just steps away from the beach in North Devon. Water was c-c-c-cold but we didn't care. What lovely photos, hope your brother and sister read your blog and see the pics and share in your happy memories of times by the seaside.
These pics are fantastic but I find it hard to believe that they are from your childhood. They look much older than someone our age could possibly be associated with. However, I have some pictures like this from my youth and it amazes me how far techonology has advanced since then. I do miss the photos with the borders and jagged edges. These days all my photos are digital. Most I never even print.
I'm mainly posting photographs without words at the moment. Theme Thursday helps to keep me blogging and I hope to return to Sepia Saturday before too long.

Definitely a nice collection of family memories. That last shot is priceless!

Lovely photos - my favourite is the penultimate one.
Lovely family photos :)
Those pics are great Sal.
I so wish I could paint or draw because that next to the last image I would surely try to capture on a canvas.
Beautiful. Evocative.
They are so cute. They look like the best of friends. And today?
Hi Letty,

glad you like them.
Shammi, this may well have been Devon though probably south.
Barbara, all 3 of us get on well today
:-)
Gary I know! they look so aged and partly feel to me like a different world and era. Time is weird and technology makes it much more so.
