Out to lunch is a good thing. Your lunch sounded pretty good and if I drank some ale then I think that would be good too.
I loved the video with the little tadpoles and hope they grow to a ripe old age. But I also realize that chances are only one will survive the newt. I guess it is the circle of life.
I'm mainly posting photographs without words at the moment. Theme Thursday helps to keep me blogging and I hope to return to Sepia Saturday before too long.
I enjoy reading your comments and apologise if I don't find the time to reciprocate.
Details of my other habits are on a strictly need-t0-know basis.

Mmmm, that lunch has made me homesick. Steak and kidney would be my choice but steak and ale comes close.
Love the tads too.
Beer makes the best gravy! Your taddies are doing well! Probably enough to eventually jump out of the pont AND feed your starving newts!
I love cooking with beer! Look how big the wigglers are getting. Wow!
aw...cute polywogs! And cute pint.
btw, your TT link goes to a sepia saturday post...some people will be sore they've missed the wiggglers.
