Hats

Some hats. Lost, abandoned, waiting to be found:

Last week I posted something on the Tuesday which really I could have kept and used for Theme Thursday,
as it was Green-related, and last weeks TT was "Green".

Last Saturday, my Sepia Saturday post ended up being hat-related

So, in the spirit of cross-overs, here is some sepia today.

The hat in question on Saturday was an inter-generationally worn baby hat,
I posted photos of both my father and my daughter wearing it as babies.

Here it is again, in a photo collage my mother made some years ago:

The same photo of my dad with the fluffy hat, a baby bonnet
which probably also came from his family,
and a photo of him with his mum, both be-hatted.

I find it sad when I see a lost hat or glove in the street. :(

Your mother's collage is making me think about babies being born in cabbage leaves...

Some of those are good hats...I am QUITE sure their owners are upset to have misplaced them!

Interchangeable posts and quite entertaining.

Happy Thursday to you!

Yes, you are an excellent chronicler of lost items. I prefer to think they are lost & will be found; rather than abandoned. I love love love hats....

Nothing more lonely than lost hats, unless its lost shoes...especially just one.

I hate when I lose an article of clothing I love. With me, it's usually gloves.

If you find my black Billabong peaked cap, can you return it please, it covers a multitude of Saturday morning bedhead and I haven't seen it for yonks!

And I am hoping that someone came back to get that brightly colored hat. I just know they missed it. I love the collage and I'm surprised at what great shape the bonnet is in.

Makes you wonder if they left them on purpose or just forgot them. Poor things!

Love the baby hat!

Sorry to be coming in a bit late with well wishes for your dad. Glad that he's doing better!

I come across a lone shoe now and then.
Those hats have stories. I love that!
The pics of your Dad & daughter are so sweet.

So there are quite a few hatless folks with cold heads walking around in your neighbourhood.
I wonder if the owners ever come looking for them.
