Fab photos, as usual, Lettuce. I especially like your docklands photo. How do you upload your pics into Blogger, and retain such good quality? I'm using Old Blogger, and have just started using Flickr as a go-between, to get sharper images onto my blogsite.
this sock pic reminds me of sunbathing days one summer in south devon-- grim determined looking locals heading down to the beach, shoulders hunched against the chill winds, it's sunny -- so we MUST have our time in the sun ... while I in long pants and a jacket did a bit of beach combing --until my hands froze. I looked back at the sunbathers and they were wrapping themselves, head to toe in the small thin towels they'd brought along.
since you lose a great deal of warm thru the old noggin' a warm wooly beach hat would compliment them socks.
missing you--hard to believe it's been over a year!!!!
Sorry for my bad english. Thank you so much for your good post. Your post helped me in my college assignment, If you can provide me more details please email me.
Alternatively, considering how pale he is, the socksmay be so no one will step on him?
ReplyDelete"Gull 5 to Gull Leader, target sighted! You can't bloody miss 'im! Aiming for the socks!"
ReplyDelete"Gull Leader to Gull 5, stand down man! Veer off! Veer off!"
And another beach goer is saved from an immenent gull attack due to the socks! Sharp eye, Gull Leader!
Sorry lettuce but I just couldn't help myself, wot? Amazing snap tho' :)
Not quite ready to get his feet wet? Getting cold feet?
ReplyDeleteOh there are so many puns on the tips of my memory. As usual they are beyond my grasp when I need them.
Brilliant picture.
I think he believes he has socks appeal....
ReplyDeleteGreat photo...the socks made me giggle!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
I like the color combination
ReplyDeletePopsicle toes? I'm still laughing at Subby's comment. Our beaches in California have much finer sand. I might wear socks on those rocks too.
ReplyDeleteI bet he had sandals as well! LOL
ReplyDeleteif i went to that beach my pockets would pull my pants down...i'd stuff them so full of nice round pebbles!
ReplyDeletebut the water looks cold.
That, Lettuce, would seem to be an Englishman.
ReplyDeleteFirst day on the beach.
Toe in the water? Maybe tomorrow.
