i've been still feeling, of late, the lack of inspiration i talked about in my last post....
.... and had decided to do a Wordless Weekend post, with just one or two photos.
No words.
As soon as I resolved on this excellent plan, I began thinking not only about which photos to post, but also of Words to accompany them....
i imagined myself on Monday or Tuesday, in a consecutive post, writing in wry and witty tones, about how hard I had found it to resist adding words to my Wordless post....
... and then my mind began to fill with words
words about my weekend
about words
and about wordlessness
about weariness
and feeling worn-down, washed-out
weepy
about the wordiness of my week - wordiness at work, words hiding - or not revealing - hidden agendas
about wandering and walking
and wondering
weeding
(and weediness)
wine
about wild and wet (and wintry) weather
and wonderful waking wild wanton spring
wistfulness, wisteria
(and warmth! finally!!!!!!!!)
whither wordlessness?
winging its wishful wondering way around the world.
I would so love to also have something wise to say about weasels but.....
... anyone?

What's up chuck? You sound as though you have the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Love the photographs btw. x
Perhaps your trip will dispel all of this . . . I'm trying to come up with something for weasel. Great post and wonderful pictures.
wishing you a wild wanton spring - and a lonnnnnng one. May it weasel its way to you just as the words flowed out of the wordless place (lovely pics.)
be well.
A wistful, woebegone weasel? Waiting for the vernal equinox?
These are incredible photos - and the modicum of words was a perfect accompaniment!
W-W-What?! :-) Ah yes, words.
Loved that first shot - utterly eerily beautiful.
Hey that winter trees (very Sylvia Plathian) is lovely jubbly excellent stuff!!
...winging its wishful wondering round the world...
... I like that...

xXxXxXx....

What a wonderfully witty woman you are ;-)
Pop goes the weasel!
Awww. I was going to say "Witty!" But Donna got here before me. :(
Lettuce, may I recommend a cat or catts: warmest creatures under the sun.
Otherwise a rejoiceful writing group (I can recommend one) to whack away woes (sorry . . .). Or you could start one. Lessons given.
PS: I am grateful, honoured and blessed by your linking if that's the word :))
When weasels would wonder what wonders awaited, where would they wander?
Why, to Lettuce's blog o' course.
Thanks for the wordless/wordy smile.
whither wordy whining weasels wander in withering winter we wonder?
wettuce is a wholly witty woman!
You are much too clever for me even when you want to be wordless. That top pic is so moody. I love it.
Words of wasdom.
I ditto my trees comment again: wow that shot really is quite something...

AbVan, it was an utterly eery morning.

what a wag you are, Ms. Witzel
well kimy, i don't know what weasels have got to whine about i'm sure. (unless its related to the popping...)
i don't know bout cleverness gary (clever schmever) (did i do that right?) but it was a perfect morn for moodiness.
was, shelly? would, will be...?
Wassup? Wait for the wintery weather to wend its weary way wherever...
polishing the kettle..?!? that is most surely an early sign of madness!
having said that I used to polish the taps: having heard that Madonna obsessively did the same; I thought that by copying her habits a bit of her success might rub off (like Jif, perhaps)... on me! hahaargh!! ;->...
Words are so important to me - I thought my new blog would be all images with a sentence or two, but ... no! I can't resist words.
LOVE the fog pic!
And I would love all the "W" words except that's the nickname of that odious fellow who lives in the White House. It's a letter that's been tainted in my mind. After the election this November, I hope to let that go.
I love your 'Wordless Wednesday' post - all those amazing 'W' words. I like Wisteria the best.
Enjoy your holiday - a holiday will bring many more words.
I await your weasel wisdom
