My local downbeat urban rundown downtown Woolwich actually has some palm trees, and I thought I had some photos I could post. But no, I must have imagined taking photos of them.
They are unexpected and look somewhat out of place in the high street by the red London buses.
Maybe I imagined them.

love the shadow shots....the layering of the palms creates a neat texture...but you ended it well with a little beauty int he palm of your hand...

ReplyDeleteYou palm photos make me realize I have never taken a palm photo. And come to think of it, I don't think there are any palms around? I will look for them, and as soon as I find one, I will photograph it. I am palm green with envy. For most of my life, palms were in the picture. I miss them. Thanks for your post.

Frondulicious . . . love the Victorian Greenhouses, so nostalgic. I bet they contain half the plants we grow here.
ReplyDeleteThe 'victorian greenhouse' is Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens which you may be surprised to know is the setting for a Knit Pic tomorrow which sadly I cannot attend bit my friends are going to. A Picnic where you sit and knit and talk and eat and make friends.
