  8. Love these shots. Reminds me of director David Lean's neutral scenes with just a pinch of red thrown in!

  17. Aww I always feel a little sad when I see neglected or lost items. Like that odd boot that has fallen off a tradies truck and just lies unwanted in the middle of the road. Great shots as always.

  18. Hmmm... Looks like Mary Poppins met with either an accident or foul play in that first photo. And do people always drape red gloves on fence posts in your town? What a quaint tradition! Heh, heh!

  19. These are all wonderfully organic "remains", the first a pterodactyl, or is is Milton's Satan? The second appears to have absorbed conscious life from its wearer - a new twist on "Talk to the hand".

  20. As long as that's not Thing from the Addams Family... if it were, I'd say you're torturing the poor chap. ;)

  22. I love the perspective of the red glove on the fencepost. Are the cherry trees really blossoming now?

  23. i have so many photos of lost things. it is a bit of a sad collection.

subby its great isn't it? he has 2 of those vintage vans, and a vintage porsch (without engine) and other vintage vehicles come and go.... its just down the end of our road.

roy, it is a thing in the UK - sticking lost things up on walls, gates etc....

stephanie, this is an old photo.
