pssst!( I'm whispering; don't wanna disturb anyone on the beach, here )...no real words needed for thi, tho'...so relaxing. All I need now is the souns of the surf, wot? Happy Sunday :)
I love to be by the sea. I was born and brought up within sight and smell of the sea. I have to visit the sea at least once a year.... I live so far away from the sea now. I miss the waves and the salt and the seaweed and the stones and the sounds. Lake Ontario just isn't quite the same.
P.S. I think you really should consider more Alice adventures right here on your blog.
Really.
Truly.
It would be so much fun! If you don't, I just might steal your idea, (only not with Alice) for my own blog adventures after we get back from vacation. :)
thanks for whispering subby, you're so sensitive. :-)
Lovely mum, thankyou.
E, I have but not for years, I think its got rather expensive now. But a great place - he really was a character and did some important conservation work.
Lynne, it is LG. And I think Alice will have a couple more appearances here, tho maybe also over at ArtSparkers.
Tom, me too. I found a shack by the sea, selling great handmade stuff (some of it made from beachcombings) and I envied her life...

ReplyDeleteSometimes posts like this without words have a profound effect because they allow the reader to create the words! Very nice and calming.

ReplyDeleteWonderfully serene blue hour.
ReplyDeleteVisually stunning and soothing all at once. Have you ever visited the Jersey Zoo??? I saw a movie about its founder that was interesting and funny...
ReplyDeleteI really felt I could hear the see with your wonderful photos.

if i could live in a shack by the sea, i'd die happy--with sandy toes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous evocative shots - which, of course, remind me of Guernsey days! x
