I think those are some cool pictures of contrast between day and night. I had to try and figure out what the lights were in the middle out there all alone.
So brave to take post pictures of you toes, very brave indeed.
i love looking out on these gardens - you can't quite see mine, just the blue/grey shed in the corner, thats mine. And the yellow forsythia next to it. I grew up in a similar Victorian house with a similar view from my bedroom window and always loved gazing... herhimnbryn, I'd miss these too if i was living away from the UK.
Mrsupole, the lights in the middle are some solar-powered lamps our neighbour have strung up around a concrete post in the middle of their garden. why? i couldn't say! our neighbours the other way have some similar lining their garden and at night it looks like an airport runway :0/
the sky colour was most peculiar, this (post-editing) was the closest I could get.... the glow comes from the direction of the Excel centre, where the G20 was going on just across the Thames. so maybe it was anti-protestor glow. or maybe it was anti-globalization glow.
lynne grats on the new keyboard! just keep honey away from it....
ten little piggies, tens of tens of things to grow in the garden..lovely look at ten am and pm...

I'm glad you have your feet on the ground (and in the green! grass) 24/7.
ReplyDeleteVery cute theme. Love the photos, especially 10 p.m. Lovely glow in the sky!
P.S. You inspired me to finally get rid of my old spongy keyboard; plus the "J" stuck yesterday and could not be coaxed back up. :)
Oh Lettuce Lady, these are lovely. I miss terrace houses. All those angles, bricks and slates.
ReplyDeleteThose London back of house allotments or yards are immediately recognizable.
ReplyDeleteI managed to get honey on my keyboard (similar to yours) the key stuck for awhile, but the honey sank slowly, so now it's fine. Still not recommended.
Very cool indeed!

I like how you can see a bit of the glass house even in the darkness.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the feeling of grass underfoot:)
ReplyDeleteSorry it took me so long to comment.
ReplyDeleteI love how everyone's got a different way of looking at 10.
