I'm glad you like it Reya - & nabeel (hi nabeel!) I thought it was lovely and got strange looks taking lots photos. Its more to do with the wall than the snow though, its dangerously inclined - not nearly vertical!
Don't be jealous donna, our snow is gone too, like tut-tut. In fact it was gone on Friday, but I wanted to post this anyway... its kind of metaphorical.
THat's great--a masonry shot! I wish I had enough snow over here to capture something like that. I feel sorry for those bricks though...the cement mortar pointing has already kept moisture trapped behind the wall and the water has been forced to go through the brick face instead. It's terrible when the brick face erodes instead of the mortar...terrible but artistic...
Yes, James, we salute your masonry knowledge. (feel free to come and redo my pointing any time ;p). It had never occurred to me to feel sorry for bricks.... this is a very very old wall. And beautiful I think.
Beautiful image! It must be thick, wet snow to cling to such narrow surfaces. Thick snow is the best for snow people. Gorgeous!

Looks like a bad case of dandruff! A giant was coming his hair! Ewwwww, sorry.
Spent the weekend in Herefordshire where there was LOADS of snow, all resting on the hedgerows and trees and the next day it was all gone!
