Stone

Being a very big fan of stones, I've posted about them before, so that you can see pictures of some of my stone collection here

and here are some other stones which have caught my eye:

Perpignan, France

Jersey, Channel Islands (UK)

from the banks of the Thames, London

Andy Goldsworthy's wall, in Storm King sculpture park, New York State

remains of the Bishops Palace, Southwark, London

Suffolk, England

Ipswich, Suffolk, England.

happy theme thursday

Reused bricks are among my favorite things, a borderland between the manmade and and the organic.

lovely; I could look at them all day. Amazing what putting some stones together will create, isn't it? Keep warm; heat a stone and take it to bed!!

All the photos are wonderful, but the first photo sort of blows my mind. It's one of those photographs where I almost step into the picture, it's that absorbing.

The workmanship! Whoa!

Thanks! Fabulous Theme Thursday!

Letty,
I don't know what is wrong with me. I read these posts and think I commented and go back to discover that I have not!

Wonderful photos. For some reason I enjoy graveyards. Well, perhaps enjoy is not the right word but there is something very peaceful about them. Spoon River Anthology comes to mind...all on the hill.
