I find myself taking an inadvertent blog break. Sadly not because of time off relaxing but because of an excess of busy-ness and, probably, trying too hard to do better.
But relax is an excellent Theme Thursday prompt for today, and here are some relaxing thoughts, which make me thirst for the weekend.....

I love black cats. When I was a boy I had a black cat that was a half Prussian blue. Big boy, ferocious hunter but as gentle as could be at home. Our standard poodle (feared by delivery people for his attack mentality) once tried it on with Blackie (yes, what an imaginative child I was with names) but never again after his big nose had been truly clawed.
Pubs and pints and comfy chairs - I wanna go home!

I think it was Dr Johnson who said "The tavern chair is the throne of human felicity". It's all summed up in your wonderfully relaxing series of images.
