Interim

Late winter sun in Buckinghamshire

Well I have good intentions about blogging more regularly in the New Year, and thought I'd better get a post up now before I totally forget how to go about it....

I'm feeling relaxed almost to the point of blankness.

Catching up on sleep and rest, catching up with lovely family, catching up on a weaving project which has been going on for too many years, catching up with latest new Doctor Who Christmas special (regeneration into a new doctor approaches fast, tis very exciting), catching up with my camera.

Thinking about catching up with tidying and housework (but only marginally), thinking about going to see Avatar, thinking about the fact that I'm almost entirely successfully not thinking about work, thinking about knitting.

And thinking about you. I might even catch up with your blogs too before long.
If my state of relaxation doesn't lapse into complete torpor.

Letty, do go and see Avatar! It was amazing! You absolutely *must* see it in 3-D if you go, though. I didn't want it to end. So so good.

It's a good thing the holidays do provide some down time after all the frenzy of getting there. Hope you enjoy your "interim" before it begins all over again.

Dr. Who! Maybe will be available here soon - I've heard good things about this season. Did you see Carey Mulliga, of the Blink eoisode, in "An Education"?

I need to learn how to knit. Seriously. I'm going to go get a starter kit or something.

Huzzah for relaxation!

You could be me right now. I've had a total of four days off and I'm so chilled it's scary. In that time I've done 3 loads of washing, cleaned two saddles, two bridles, watched six DVD's and spent a LOT of time on the computer! Good stuff . . .now if I could master 'sleeping in'. that would be a coup! Hmm, hyour little Cities online is brilliant except it has me coming from Lindfield! I'm bouncing off servers allover Sydney!

how I identified with this post... for me if I could only get intentions and thoughts to realize themselves into action...

I had a dream the night before last that we were both going to be in nyc at the same time - could it be foreshadowing of something delightful in 2010!

keep me posted when you make that reservation to hit the big apple! I do love when dreams become a reality

happy new year!!

Happy New Year! I worshipped the God Janus, (of January and janitors) today by scrubbing my home entrance and stairs. It felt very good. To new beginnings, passages, gateways, transitions.... here we go!
