Perpignan

Well I took lots of pics while I was in Perpignan and if I'm going to share any of them with you, now is the time to do it.

In a week and a half, I'm off again for 2 weeks family holiday and it seems entirely possible that i may take a picture or two while away.

So I'm going to try and do slightly more frequent posts over the next week or so, before my Perp pics go past their sell-by date - but probably mainly photos rather than words. Well, unless i think of some words that is.

So, to begin with - Perpignan - colours:

The shadow pic is fabulous (no surprise that I liked that one!)

Villages in the U.S. never look like this, even when they tried to build European-ish villages, they always came out Ah-mur-ican.

These are great. So glad you'll be posting a bit more before you head off for family vacation. Bravo!!

Great photos! I see that you like to take photos of architechtural details like windows, balconies and the patterns that buildings make too. I am always doing the same! Though it's certainly more boring in the U.S.!

Fantastic pics lettuce and your post about the pink recycling bin really made me chuckle.

Akelamalu is right - these are downright artistic shots. I'm of the point and click photographic school; a journalist I might be, a photographer I am not.

(I shall be dropping by there myself soon) :O)

28 Pink Bins in Greenwich!

Looking up again:)

Such lovely photos, maybe you should consider photography more seriously.

Lovely warm colours, just what we need, some warmth, I am sitting here with a cardy on and goosebumps on my legs - I do have shorts on too, not just a cardy!

I am a bit slow. - Regarding recycling, we are way behind here in Jersey. We have some bins dotted about for paper, glass and plastic, though not many. Its not collected from our homes, apart from glass collected once a month. We don't even have any recycling bin for tin. God knows how long before we get pink vibrator recycling bins - probably never - I don't think there is a need for them here ;-)

28 trac! maybe we should do some cross-borough research? and investigate the placing of pink bins in relation to pubs?

ta steve
