How delightful! I feel like you're waving hello by way of the lost gloves. Hello!!

We do that on Capitol Hill, too - scoop up lost mittens and perch them on the fence posts.

Those gloves are waving so their owners will find them.... so sad to be a lost glove, separated from your twin, perhaps forever.

Yes, they do seem to be waving out to passersby: come and find me!

What no lone shoe? There's always a lone shoe lying about where I live!

Yes, lone shoes are always on railway tracks. How embarrassing for the comuter that steps up onto a train and loses his/her shoe!

I wonder what animal that tail belongs to? How bereft that wild animal must have been to find his/her tail gone when he got back to the lair. It probably belongs to one of Pam's children Letty, have you asked her? (heehee)

You take great pictures, you have a wonderful eye.

i love your photos - someday, there'll be coffee table book with photography by lettuce ...

i predict a best-seller.

love it! especially the tail. poor thing. yesterday i saw a pair of pink knickers on the pavement. how does one lose one's knickers? i didn't want to pick them and hang them on a fence to be found. i did want to take a photo, but there were lots of people around and i thought they might think i was a perv!
;0)

There's nothing more pathetic than a lost glove - not only separated from its mate, but also pretty much useless by itself. I like Reya's observation, though - they do look like waving hands!

Pod, that knickers story is PRICELESS!

A friend of mine started this magazine. I think you might like it.

Even fenceposts must get cold fingers sometimes.

I always think that lone mittens or lone shoes are awfully sad, but I've never seen a discarded tiger tail before.

You're going into investigative journalism, now, eh!
The gloves are off!

here i am, back again.

and about time you left me a comment Tat. Tho it doesn't count just leaving the same one x3. Bigger pics - its all to do with copying Pod.

Toby - it would be fun to compare best finds with you!

Hello Reya. *waves*

ex-Shammi, thats sad. Maybe the lost ones will find each other and make new pairs. :o)

tut-tut - they were gone when I next went passed, so maybe....

akelamalulu - actually, not an unusual sight round here, I'll keep my eyes peeled (ouch thats a horrid expression)

RW i will ask Pam. (you're very naughty)

Thanks Martin, and thanks for visiting too.

thanks Bird - tho I'm not sure coffee and lettuce go together very well.

haha Pod. Maybe they were swiped from one's washing line? But I am disappointed at you - I'm sure you could have got a surreptitious photo.

Steve - see my response to ex-shammi above. I will not be sad about these gloves.

pblue - thank you so much! what a brilliant mag/website, I love it!!

Mr Farty. That is only true in Scotland, you know.

Jay. Still refusing to be sad about the gloves. A bit sad about the tiger tail tho...

hahaha Cream, you are funny. (if so, I failed, not having seen who took/stole/reclaimed them...)

ooo Pod, coming over right now to have a look...
