Moving pictures

Some blogger tools are just so cool. Thanks Tat for introducing me to this one, its just the job for some snaps from my visit to Ipswich, staying with RW for a few days over half term.

You can adjust the speed of this slide show or stop it (bottom left, - // +) - I point this out cos I was a bit concerned whether this was too slow and boring, until I belatedly noticed these options. Doh!

Note the watery-ness of Suffolk.

Note also the less-than-random dog - borrowed for the afternoon because, as RW pointed out, its encouraging to have doggy joyous enthusiasm for a country walk when accompanied also by slow and sulky (might-as-well-be) teenagers who would rather be sat in front of a screen.
The dog - Ziggy. a 5 month-old pointer - needless to say travelled about 10 times as far as the rest of us and particularly enjoyed pointing and barking at random and clearly suspicious bits of wood.

Good friends ease the heart, thanks for a lovely visit Luce.

Hi Lettuce - I've just found slide.com and said almost the same as you when I posted my slideshow yesterday!!! I didn't notice that you could speed things up either. It's fun though, isn't it. Our blogs may never be the same again!

They're fine by the way!!

Come back soon.

I played with the speed until it was a whizzing blur...ha ha...small mind.

Very muddy there. Poo. But the beer looked nice.

Excellent! That dog is clearly having a great time. Dogs are always so enthusiastic about everything, aren't they??

(applause) This is great! I'll have to try one. I love the nonrandom dog. The piece of wood in the pic of him looks suspicious to me, too. If I were him, I'd bark.

Love the muddy boot pic too - oh - and if it moved faster it would make me dizzy. it's perfect. Thank you for such a lovely glimpse of your walk.

Hi Lettuce! I thought I would pay you a visit since you were kind enough to come visit me :)
The slide show is great! What a neat option. Wonderful pictures too - you capture the muddiness with a very artistic eye. Thanks for sharing!

Nice slide shows on your blog too, V2V - tis indeed fun.
I will Luce, soon as poss.
Yes Steve, the doggy delight was great - tho' I don't see the suspiciousness of that wood, maybe I'm less doggy-attuned than Reya?

Wendz - careful, don't make yourself dizzy. The beer was luvverly - looking forward to sharing some with you and Trac in London before too very much longer I hope? (nice beer glass too, I was very tempted to nick it).

Thanks for the return visit (and the answer) Tammie jean.

And Dizzy - how nice to see you here a bit more often these days!
But its meant to be GOTH not Dennis the Menace! from Camden Market - LG wants to go live there.

Lovely photos Lettuce. Yes Suffolk looks wet and muddy at the moment much like North Devon! Poor Tatty and the kids were subjected to unusually large amounts of rain here. I guess that's to be expected in February!

I used to live in Camden, Jazz was born there. I love it and would recommend a stint of living there to any young person, it broadens the mind and is a wonderful, vibrant, colourful place if a little mad. I just went off it when Jazz was born, the madness of the place seemed too mad for a tiny baby!

Are you in the middle of a face lift Letty?

hahaha, yes, 250 - can't remember if I put that in on purpose or not. Age does that to the memory.

As for the new look - that pink was so yucky, wasn't it? what was I thinking!!!!!!!
