Weirdness

I've been tagged by Donna to do this meme.

Here are the instructions - The Rules: Each player of this game starts with "6 weird things about you". Each person who gets tagged needs to write a blog post of their own 6 weird things as well as clearly state this rule. After you state your 6 weird things, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you're tagged" in their comments and tell them to read your blog for information as to what it means.

So here goes:

1. I have an extensive collection of photos of brick walls. It all started with a textile design project... and the fabulous sixteenth century walls in Charlton Village. I've been known to get strange looks, comments and to embarrass my family by pausing in the street to add to my collection. Its kind of addictive. I'd like to turn them into wallpaper. (if I liked wallpaper)

2. If I'm going to throw away old socks or knickers, I will wash them first.

3. I remember numbers. All sorts of numbers. I probably know your phone number even if you haven't told it to me. Post codes too. But I have trouble remembering all my internet passwords.

4. I put things down (or sometimes drop them) and they slip into alternative dimensions or parallel universes. Then they will pop out again a few days later, when I've stopped looking for them. Once I lost my electric toothbrush for almost a week. I found it half way down the stairs between the banisters.

5. I talk in my sleep a lot, and have been known to sleepwalk. I once had a lengthy discussion with M., while asleep, about the seeds which I was searching for, which I insisted had to be "seedless seeds". But if anyone engages me in sleep-conversation, I get quite cross.

6. I collect armadillos. Some of them have names.

Oooh, this was so hard to get going on. And frighteningly easy once I got started....

I tag Joyce, Jay, Dizzy, Bird, Joanna, PG

Wonderfully weird Letty. I knew you had it in you :-)

Oh, you fiend in lettuce clothing! I am abominably boring and will have to have a good think about this.

I get where you are coming from with washing the socks etc before chucking them, although as I use 'em for dusters I have a good reason to !

Hi Lettuce,
Totally agree with no. 5, I talk in my sleep all the time, I've had Gregg awake believing me that there was a whirly gig at the bottom of the bed!

and miniature gardens?

I asked the girls what they thought was weird about me today and they could only think of one thing - which is odd as they always say I'm weird!

I have 2 weird things in common with you.....remembering numbers (although I do remember every singgle passowrd I have) and losing things in front of my nose.

There is nothing weird about my miniature garden. Or how much I like it.

I do use old (clean, obviously) socks for cleaning shoes. On the very odd occasion when I do such a thing. But dusting with knickers? I think not.

(but then Dons, you have knickers so much lovelier than mine..... ;p)

looking forward to hearing about more weirdness.....

I love this game...you learn so much about a person! I wash clothes before throwing them away, too. Somehow it seems disgusting to throw away dirty clothes.

i sometimes use old (washed) kegs for dusters!! and i want to come around and look at your brick collection and the armadillos!! keep all dolls out of the way though! ;0p

Are the armadillos alive, healthy, fierce?
Have you posted these brick pictures. I have quite a collection too, but not as many as I'd like. When I take a picture of a brick wall, it has to be for a design, pattern, etc. and there almost always has to be a break in it. So, yeah, since you have a purist archival collection are they available?
