I think the tree won too. But, they chopped its head off. :o(
No doubt it was considered a dangerous nuisance.

Yes it is - well, the top of Maryon Wilson park (the animal park) opposite Charlton park and school.

Some lovely trees down in Greenwich park too. :o(
