Clangers

Still wading, plodding, labouring, dredging, dragging myself (but not padding, I wouldn't dare) through the essays.

But my little pencil friends help to cheer me up.

No rude comments please.

Those buggers would never fit in my pencil dish!
I'm glad you have company at least :)

Are they pink anteaters?

The 'lady' in blue looks in pain. I'd be too with a pencil up my bum.

Is it just you, James, who doesn't recognise them? or were you joking....?

No, they sadly don't squeak. They don't squeak sadly either.

I do have some soft ones which squeak. AND a fix-it mouse which sings. Maybe I should post a picture of them too, especially for Pod. See - if you thought it was just armadillos in our house, how wrong you were.

And I think they came from the £1 shop, a long, long time ago.......

I grew up in the U.S., so never saw the Clangers until a few weeks ago (thanks to YouTube). My husband spent several of his formative years in England and Scotland, so he has fond memories of the Clangers.

I have a double CD with the sound track from the Clangers, and also have 2 clangers living in my knicker drawer!

I did have a fridge magnet, but I think it was mortally wounded when we moved house.

Hi Sweetie

What wonderful creatures you have in your home = armadillos, clangers and mpre .......

I didn't read your weird things until this evening (because I thought I might get put off my stroke whilst trying to do mine). I really enjoyed reding them.

I'm hoping blogger will now allow me to comment on your blog once again now that I have tried to make my peace with Google.

Clangers? A bagpuss mouse? I have no idea what any of this means. Must be a British thing. Clearly I need to do some Internet research.
